Armourers marks
You have to love the world of the interwebs! For instance, all the stuff you can see by going to the armoury in Leeds is all here, in this series of books from the Internet Archive. Almost every single page from this book is fascinating, and I found the below appendix to be VERY interesting....it is a list of armourer's marks.

So I take it you are not signing up for class on Sunday?
Those armorer's marks are fascinating. Have you thought of marking your work? If I send my breastplate back for readjustment feel free to add a little something. Every piece of art needs a signature!
I have never got around to getting a mark made. Costs money.
I usually sign my work with a buzz tool.
